Oh, Eugene, how you do inspire the spirit and feed the soul.
Next up on the don’t-you-dare-tell-me-there’s-nothing-to-do docket is the 2010 Blackberry bRamble Jamboree.
Now this could be a post all about the innovative activities that GEARS (Greater Eugene Area Riders) offered for participants to embrace bike culture. About the newspaper delivery challenge. The tricycle races. The bike polo matches. Even the flat change timed competition. I could wax poetic about how awesomely Eugene it was that volunteer pedalers powered the musical stage (which included my new found love Sea Bell). I could certainly point out that the chance to test out recumbent bikes, get a foot massage, climb a tree and show off your hula hoop prowess followed by an ever-refreshing Kailua Shave Ice moved the event from fun to downright awesome.
But all of that will have to wait because I cannot get past my fixation with one particular bRamble feature: Eddo Burgers. Where in tarnation (or Eugene) has this food cart been hanging out and why did I not know about it? How has word of their gluten-free bread option not made it to my Twitter feed? Why have I not been eating their sweet potato chips with barbecue sauce on a weekly basis (I’d say daily, but that’s crazy, right?)
Ok, enough with the whining. A quick Facebook search tells me they are at 394 Blair Blvd. I have some serious catching up to do.
I’ll ride my bike!

Was great to meet you in person and glad you could come down to celebrate Eugene’s Bikulturalism.
Wonderful photos too!
So glad you loved our food—thanks for spreading the word!
